At BC Eyefitters, our mission is to fit your eyes to your lifestyle, whether it’s at the office, on the lake, or cycling through the hill country.
We offer eye care services and a variety of eye wear options for the whole family. Our doctor is experienced in seeing patients of all ages so parents can feel comfortable bringing their little ones in for an eye exam.

I grew up in the small west Texas town of Sterling City. I received a Bachelor of Science degree from Angelo State University where I majored in biology and minored in chemistry. I then went on to complete my Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston. During that time, I did a rotation at the VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico where I gained experience in providing geriatric eye care and managing eye diseases like glaucoma and macular degeneration. I spent a few years practicing in Burnet, TX where I further expanded my scope of practice to pediatrics and general family eye care. In 2015, I moved to Lakeway with my husband Jarrett Sweet, son Sterling, and our dog Moses. Starting my own practice has been a lifelong goal and I am excited to share my growth as an eye care practitioner with the families of Lakeway and surrounding communities.

My name is Austin, I am from Burleson, Texas, and a proud graduate of Texas Tech University where I studied Kinesiology and Healthcare Professions. In 2014, my interest in optometry led me to the Austin area where I have now lived and worked for the past 7 years. I love sports, the outdoors, and spending time with my dog, Dizzie. I enjoy interacting with patients and look forward to assisting you with your optical needs!

Ocular Emergency Office Visit

Ocular emergencies can happen at any time. We can often accommodate same day appointments or walk-ins for eye emergencies. This can include treatment for:
- styes/eye lid infections
- conjunctivitis or "pink eye"
- corneal ulcers
- foreign body removals
- corneal abrasions
- blunt force trauma
- new onset flashes of light/floaters (retinal tears/detachments)
- sudden onset vision changes or vision loss

Routine Exam + Retinal Photo Bundle

Eyelid Evaluation & Cleansing
$125
per service
The doctor performs an initial evaluation of the eyelid margin and also cleanses the lid in office to remove the bulk of debris/bacteria/build up. This procedure can provide relief for many eye issues such as the following:
- recurrent chalazia/styes
- eye redness
- itching of eyes/allergies
- blepharitis
- demodex infestations
- dry eye
- contact lens intolerance/discomfort
This includes full size lid hygiene products the patient keeps to continue lid treatment at home.
